Robore Group has grown to over 200 staff with an annual
turnover approaching £12 million
Today, the Robore Group employs over 200
staff and enjoys the financial stability and security of an organisation with a
substantial asset backing. Robert and Karen Harverson started the company in
1986, forming a partnership called Robore Cuts based in Norbury, South
London.
Key milestones in the history of Robore
Group include:
1986 - Robore Cuts grows to employ
over 10 diamond drillers in the first year of trading
1989 - Continual reinvestment
supports growth to 30 operatives, 20 vehicles and a large plant base
1992 - Robore Cuts Limited acquires
Abracuts, one of the first diamond drilling companies in the UK
1994 - Robore grows to become one
of the largest controlled demolition contractors in Europe
1997 - The Robore Special Projects
group is expanded to offer leading-edge controlled demolition services
1999 - Robore relocates to a
purpose-built facility in Mitcham, Surrey
2000 - Robore acquires London
Diamond Drilling Services, a contractor with annual turnover of £4
million
2002 - Robore's Quality
Management System meets ISO 9001:2000 compliance
2004 - LDD Fire Protection is formed
to offer a comprehensive range of passive fire protection measures to
compliment the existing services offered by the group
2006 - Robore achieves CHAS
accreditation of it's Health & Safety systems
2006 - Robore acquires Kingstar

2007 - Robore becomes a IIBT
Test Centre qualified to carry out the CSCS Health & Safety Test
2007 - Robore becomes an accredited
NVQ Assessment Centre for Drilling & Sawing
